From May 2 till May 4, 2007 TTC TELEKOMUNIKACE, s.r.o. participated actively in the 9th year of the Defence and Security Technologies Trade Fair IDET 2007. The company received here a Prestigious Award from the editors of IDET NEWS 2007 magazine in the branch "Communication systems" for the exhibit Dispatching System IP TouchCall. The general director of the company, Mr. Ivan Říčař, took over the award on May 3.
This year’s trade fair exceeded record results of the previous year, mainly as far as the number of exhibitors is concerned. 311 exhibitors from 26 countries of the whole world came to Brno. Many foreign delegations headed for IDET thanks to D.C.L. Vlasta Parkanová, the Defence Secretary. The Secretary invited to Brno her counterparts from NATO and EU countries and military representatives from NATO headquarters in Brussels.

The main target of the ninth year of the IDET trade fair was to present new trends in the development of defence technologies, information and communication systems, ways of convergence of the army and security structures and their role in the course of natural and industrial disasters.
The underlying subject-matter of the TTC exhibition were client solutions in the sector of defence and the national security, mainly communication systems for the crisis management and the security and protection of the communication infrastructure. Daily a lot of dozens of visitors visited the exhibition and in parallel important negotiations took place in the storey stand. Number of important personalities visited the TTC stand, among them were for example lieutenant general Vlastimil Picek, Chief of the General Staff of ACR, Štefan Füle, the ambassador of the Czech Republic at NATO, Nick Witney, chief executive officer of the European Defence Agency (EDA) or Tjien Khoen Liem from DG Enterprise & Industry of the European Commission.

TTC representatives contributed with their expert paper to the 5th year of the International Conference of Information and Communication Technologies ITTE 2007, dedicated to the communication in the Network Enabled Capability environment, organized by the Czech branch of AFCEA.
The ninth year of IDET 2007 was very successful for TTC TELEKOMUNIKACE and a lot of future contracts and solutions were discussed here.
